TUITION SERVICES

The SET tuition programmes incorporate several strategies to provide an effective, successful service for learners of all ages and abilities.

  1. AFTER SCHOOL COMPUTER BASED LEARNING

SET provides a complete individualised learning service for all students. Using Compass Learning as the main teaching programme and the SET Assessment Model for needs analysis, we are able to accurately assess the level at which the learner currently operates and design an individual programme to suit specific needs. Programmes cater for Reading, Spelling, Language, Maths and  Science . Learners participate in a sequential developmental learning programme supported by the tutor. Regular reports of progress and development are available after every lesson.

2. AFTER SCHOOL ONE ON ONE TUITION

SET provides a ONE on ONE tuition service for all learners but more specifically designed for Secondary Age students or for learners that face barriers to learning. The ONE on ONE tuition service provides support and guidance in most school subjects including English, Maths, Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Geography and Accounting. Students participating in external examinations, NCEA Units   and Cambridge Examinations all benefit from the personalised attention and support.
